Start with communication and event context
Record affected dates and sessions, format, location, travel between spaces, platform or stage context, subject matter, expected interaction, recording, attendee instructions, and provider preparation needs.
Coordinate the physical or virtual environment
Confirm interpreter positioning, lighting, sightlines, camera framing, remote feeds, room access, reserved seating when relevant, speaker pace and microphone expectations, and technical-test ownership.
Treat confirmation as a versioned plan
Tell the attendee what service is planned and how to access it. If schedule, location, delivery mode, or important instructions change, send a revised plan and request reconfirmation.
Keep decisions human and evidence explicit
Evencue records decisions made by authorized organizers and coordinates their event-specific consequences. It does not determine legal reasonableness, medical validity, entitlement, or venue certification. Provider and onsite views receive only the information required for their task.
What teams usually ask
How far in advance should an ASL interpreter be requested?
Availability varies by market, schedule, specialization, and provider. Begin outreach as early as practical and track the provider’s real lead time rather than relying on a universal number.
Should provider briefs include a diagnosis?
No by default. Share the communication and event context required for the assignment, not unrelated medical or diagnostic information.
Can Evencue choose an interpreter?
No. Authorized organizers choose and contract with their own providers. Evencue records outreach, confirmation, logistics, delivery, and evidence.
